My immediate response is that this feels cluttered and distracting. By which I mean, the backgrounds, font choices etc all take away from the artwork you are creating.
The first step should be to simplify down your page design. The backgrounds and fonts are doing nothing for you. I would suggest using a simple background colour (black or white are the cleanest starting points) and a clean font that contrasts. I.e. a black background, with clean white font. Keep it simple and easy to read.
My next suggestion would be to space out your work. Let us see more of the development. Rather than cramming 5 concept paintings on a page, let them take up more space. Let us see them with some clarity. Full pages of concept art, with a simple black frame, always look good.
The same applies to your characters. Show them on a simple solid black or white background. Full page, with clean text to explain any key points.
